National Philanthropy Day Extends to San Diego Youth: Philanthropy is a topic that has been discussed before by this publication, and we cannot stress its
true value and importance enough. On Thursday, October 25, The San Diego Foundation will present
an awards luncheon to celebrate National Philanthropy Day. Several honorees from the San Diego
community will be featured at this luncheon, which is organized by the Association of Fundraising
Professionals, San Diego Chapter (AFPSD).
